THE MAIN POINT

Show what buyers need to understand and label what remains an idea; good images guarantee neither sales nor development rights.

01

Define questions before choosing frames

Prepare a brief around what an interested person needs to understand: context, entrance, relationships between parts of the land and visible features relevant to an imagined use. Our editorial proposal organises images by questions rather than quantity. A panorama can orient a visit, an access shot explains where the route starts, and a detail needs a reference to be understood. Law 1480 addresses clear information and advertising in consumer relationships, providing a framework for reviewing objective assertions where relevant. Do not promise a percentage improvement in sales or imply that scenery proves feasibility. Identify aspects requiring documents or professional checks. If the property is difficult to represent, record that limitation before filming and agree how to explain it. The brief should support an honest initial assessment, reducing basic questions without suggesting that video replaces a visit, measurement or review of rights for the property.

02

Prepare safe and organised capture

Agree with the owner where entry is allowed, which areas will be shown and who might appear incidentally. Choose safe conditions and avoid approaching edges, watercourses or structures merely for a shot. Our routine starts with a wide image from each position followed by details retaining their relationship to it. Keep the date and an internal location reference even where not everything needs publication. If the team must enter another property or uses a special capture method, it should review applicable permissions and rules before operating; this article grants none. Law 1581 provides the personal data framework, so anticipate people, vehicles and documents that could appear. Remove unnecessary private information from the frame at capture where possible. Preparation often prevents later editing work and allows attention to focus on presenting the land with sufficient continuity and context for a person considering a visit.

03

Show spatial relationships without pretending to measure

Order material from context to route and principal areas, using recognisable references that avoid unnecessary personal information. A short video can connect positions better than isolated images, provided it does not omit a section material to understanding access. Our editorial recommendation avoids lenses or montages exaggerating depth, size or proximity where they could create a mistaken impression. If an indicative line is drawn, label it as a visual reference and explain its supporting source instead of making it resemble a professional survey. Do not imply a fence is a confirmed legal boundary merely because it is visible. Law 1480's verifiable information principle helps review objective assertions within the applicable context. Editing can remain attractive and measured while presenting relevant features clearly. Where adequate evidence of area or distance is unavailable, omit the figure or identify it as pending rather than manufacture precision for the presentation.

04

Correct the image without changing the property offered

Adjusting exposure, cropping for a format and improving readability can help where the result still represents relevant conditions. Our editorial rule retains originals and makes material modifications explainable. Do not remove a neighbouring building, visible infrastructure or decision relevant feature to manufacture another landscape. Where a possible home visualisation is used, separate it from real photography and identify it as an illustrative proposal subject to assessment. A small label at the end may not adequately explain a dominant scene: review how each piece is understood independently. Law 1480 addresses advertised objective conditions and misleading advertising, a framework deserving attention where a consumer relationship exists. Improving quality must not become invented availability, approval or future outcomes. A faithful presentation can acknowledge areas needing clearing or visible intervention without attributing causes unknown to the production team or making unsupported claims about their practical significance.

05

Review personal data before publication

Review material frame by frame for faces, vehicle plates, identity details, signatures, phone numbers and documents unnecessary to explain the offer. Law 1581 defines personal data and principles concerning purpose, authorisation with exceptions and security. Particular application needs review according to information and use; our editorial practice reduces unnecessary dissemination from the outset. Do not insert a complete deed into video or routinely publish precise coordinates where contextual location supports initial assessment. This does not mean hiding property conditions: the review file should allow relevant evidence to be shared through an appropriate channel. If a document appears incidentally, remove the shot or prepare a version excluding details unrelated to the objective. Agree what the capture provider retains and how it may be used. Avoid forwarding originals through a chain of collaborators without defining recipients, purpose and responsibilities for files received during production and later distribution.

06

Clarify rights to photographs, music and external material

Before commissioning, agree intended uses: portal advertising, social media, private presentations and possible format adaptations. Law 23 of 1982 provides the copyright framework; paying for capture should not be assumed to permit every future use of all materials. Our production checklist identifies each contributor's material and relevant licence or permission, seeking professional review where necessary. Use music and graphics with a verifiable scope rather than downloading a piece because another account uses it. If the photographer includes stock images or other projects, require identification and labelling preventing confusion with the property. Agree file delivery, retention and corrections as well. The purpose is not to fill the advertisement with contractual details but to resolve them before publication. The owner can then maintain a coherent presentation and understand what can be adapted or supplied to an intermediary without inventing rights that were never granted.

07

Correct a video that could create a false expectation

Imagine a hypothetical montage opening with a finished house, cutting to vacant land and ending with the parcel's sale price. Even if the house is a design reference, the sequence may suggest inclusion. Our review changes the brief: identify the land and object offered first, then present the visualisation as a separate idea with understandable conditions in that scene. Check that the price concerns the advertised object rather than an imagined combination. Law 1480's information framework matters to that reading where applicable. If the reference belongs to someone else, review rights before use as well. Correction need not promise another home or invent a construction budget. Show what exists and explain what needs future assessment. Ask somebody outside production to describe what they understand is being sold; the answer may reveal confusion before material is published across different formats and channels.

08

Publish a reviewed version and keep it current

Close production with review of scenes, labels, assertions, rights and relevant personal information. Keep originals and a dated final version, separating advertising files from buyer review material. Our editorial practice calls for another review when price changes, the property changes physically or new information invalidates an assertion. Do not retain an old video offering superseded conditions merely because it attracted views. Preserve enough context in short formats: cropping can remove the label explaining a proposal or the price scope. Intermediaries need clear instructions about adaptations and current versions. The intended result is a faithful presentation allowing interested people to decide whether to visit or request background. It guarantees neither a sale nor appreciation. Evaluate usefulness through questions received and understanding of the offer rather than treating viewing figures as evidence of property quality or as a promise of future commercial outcomes for the seller.

2. Actual parcelView of the parcel from an authorised point; capture date to complete.Confirm it depicts the advertised property. Check faces, vehicle plates, private entrances and use permission.
3. Approach routeSection observed during the visit; it certifies neither all-season passability nor a right of passage.Retain the sequence and do not visually remove a difficulty relevant to the described route.
4. Illustrative boundariesIndicative line over an image; boundaries and area remain subject to documents and review.Identify the illustration and source; do not present it as a survey or legal boundary determination.
5. Illustrated project or homeRepresentation of an option to assess; the image establishes neither an existing building nor authorisation.Separate conceptual images from real photographs. Do not add unverified endorsements, permissions or testimonials.
